The inhabitants of the Mokattam rubbish district in Kairen are the protagonists of this film. At reflecting on the past, these occupational groups, mainly Copts, but also Muslims, speak about the everyday problems of discrimination and oppression during the Mubarak era.
Sayyed drives the 997 line daily from Tahrir Square in central Cairo to Giza. He has been a bus driver for 26 years. While being accompanied on his daily journey, he talks about himself, his everyday life and his values.
