In the project "Art Mothers" I combine excerpts from interviews with female artists on the subject of motherhood. Artists who are not mothers also have their say, because they too often experience discrimination on the subject of motherhood.
Mona has been working as a rubbish sorter in one of Cairo's rubbish districts since her husband died. Her four daughters Maria, Marcell, Monica and Morgina attend school. Mona has high hopes for her daughters' education and future.
